Bio

Michiru Shin is a dancer from Tokyo, Japan.

Her personal project, "Abstracted Bodies" incorporates dance movement, hand-poked tattoos of her abstract drawings, and Ilan Lev method treatment involving voice and touch. The project offers tools for deconstructing our images, gender, and social and political roles, suggesting the way to become abstract-shaped entities.

Holds BA in visual communication in Brighton University (2015).

In the institute of Lilach Pnina Livne "De Spirit" (2021), studied performing arts and collaborated with artists include Mårten Spångberg, Maria Hassabi and Robert Steijn.

As a performer, she has been working with choreographers including Bosmat Nossan, Shiran Eliaserov, Lilach Pnina Livne and Yasmeen Godder.
